💾 What We Store Locally

AnyKeyboard saves only two things to your browser's local storage — and both are to improve your experience:

• ✓ Theme preference: Your choice of light or dark mode, so you don't have to set it every time.
• ✓ Last selected layout: The keyboard layout you used most recently, so the app opens ready for you.

🚫 What We Never Collect

We designed AnyKeyboard with privacy as a core principle. Here's what we never do:

• ✗ Your text: We never transmit, store, or even see what you type. Your words are yours alone.
• ✗ Analytics tracking: No Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no tracking scripts. We have no idea how you use the app.
• ✗ Personal data: No accounts, no sign-ups, no email collection. We don't know who you are.
• ✗ Third-party sharing: We have nothing to share because we collect nothing.

🌐 Network Requests

When you use AnyKeyboard, your browser makes a few network requests. Here's exactly what happens:

• → Layout files: The app fetches keyboard layout JSON files (layouts/*.json) from our server to populate the language selector. These are static files with no tracking.
• → Fonts: We use Google Fonts for typography. Your browser may request font files from Google's CDN. Google's font service does not use cookies for tracking.
• → Search buttons: The Google and YouTube buttons simply open a new browser tab with your search query. No tracking code is added — it's a plain link.

📱 Offline Capability

After the first visit, AnyKeyboard caches most of its assets. This means:

• ✓ You can continue typing even with a spotty internet connection
• ✓ The app loads faster on subsequent visits
• ✓ Your typing remains private even offline

📝 Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this privacy policy, we'll post the changes on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. We're committed to maintaining the same level of privacy protection — any changes will only be to clarify our practices, not to collect more data.
