The Gurmukhi Script
Gurmukhi (ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ) literally means "from the mouth of the Guru." It was standardized by the second Sikh Guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji. The script has:

Like other Indic scripts, vowels attach to consonants as diacritical marks rather than standing alone (except at the start of words).
